CONTEMPORARY COMMAND 2 UP 2.0
INTRODUCTION
Connections and settings to implement to synchronise opening of the two leaf doors
General settings
The MASTER door is defined as the one that overlaps.
The opening commands OP-I and OP-E must be connected to the slave door.
Connect the IO1 and +24V contacts of the two automations together.
SLAVE
SLAVE
SLAVE DOOR
Connect the opening commands OP-I and OP-E.
Delay adjustment of opening compared to the master door:
activate the electric lock ELLK = LOCK,
set the electric lock activation advance time, TALK, to the appropriate value so the two doors do not interfere with one another during opening movement
Activate the features:
SIGN => ADV>SI01>SIGN
AIR => ADV>SIGN>AIR
MASTER DOOR
Activate the Key Open function on IO1: ADV>SIO1 = KO
Conclusions
Once the connections and settings are implemented, on receipt of a slave door command, its output IO1 will activate, keeping it fixed for the entire opening time (AIR
function). The master door on activation of its input IO1 will immediately start to open. The slave door will open after the electric lock advance time (TALK). Once the
slave door has opened and waiting for the automatic closure time, it will close again while the master door will remain open. Once the slave door closes, output IO1 will
disable allowing the master door to also close.
Note: if a command is given to open the master door only (e.g. connecting the contact button IO1 or on OP-E, OP-I you can open the latter only, obtaining partial
opening.
Note 2: management of the opening/closure safety devices takes place independently on the two doors, therefore for example if the master door by effect of safety
activation in opening cannot move with sufficient space to free the slave door (in the event of overlapping), an opening obstacle will probably generate for
slave door opening.
