TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
No power or low voltage
Faulty cable/connections
Faulty motor/ capacitor
Heater in lock-out mode due to over
heating
Fuel filter clogged
Air leaks in oil line
Fuel viscosity increased due to low
temperature
No fuel, dirty or wrong fuel
Burner nozzle clogged
Insufficient air flow into combustion
chamber
Pump pressure too high
Dirty photocell
Faulty photocell
Defective connection between photo-
cell and flame-out control
Faulty flame-out control
REMEDY
Check power line and voltage. Check
fuse and replace if necessary
Check/have cable replaced by a quali-
fied electrician
Check and replace if required
Detect the cause of overheating.Shut
the appliance down
Check air inlet and outlet
Wait some minutes and restart the ap-
pliance
If required clean/replace air pressure
switch
Clean or replace
Check pipes, tighten connections, if
necessary replace
Mix oil with 10-20% kerosene
Fill tank, remove wrong or dirty fuel
Clean nozzle blowing compressed air,
replace if necessary
Check fan
Check pump air pressure
Reduce air pressure to nominal value
Check photocell and be sure that it
acknowledges the flame
Clean photocell lens
Replace photocell
Check and connect properly
Check and replace if necessary
