6.9.1 Hot frothed milk
Immerse the steam nozzle into
the milk to be frothed;

Only heat the amount of milk
that you intend to use; once
heated, it will have to be completely poured out of
the jug and cannot be reheated;
Froth the milk which should be at a temperature of
around 4°C.

Carefully move the steam wand nozzle using the specific anti-scald
rubber grip (2).
Avoid contact with the steam wand nozzle; do not place your hands
or other body parts near the steam nozzle tips.
Keep the tips clean at all times using a cloth dampened in
lukewarm water. To keep the steam wand nozzle tips in perfect
working order, perform a brief dry dispensing run after each use.
Before using the steam, carry out a dry run by dispensing steam
for a few seconds via the
any condensation water.
Only leave the steam wand nozzle immersed in
the milk for the time needed to heat it.
Do not immerse the nozzle in the milk and switch
it on when the machine is cold.
