4.1.4- Cover detection:
If your swimming pool has an automatic cover, it is possible to configure the
BSsalt chlorinator to detect it. In this way, the chlorine production will be
limited to 20% when the cover is on, in order to avoid an excess of chlorine
which can damage the cover.
To connect the cover to the chlorinator, place the two contacts from the limit
switch and connect them to the 3 and 4 inputs as shown in the following
picture:
Bear in mind that the cover switch can be Normally Open (N.O.) or Normally
Close (N.C.).
If your limit switch is "Normally Open": Keep connected the J2
-
Jumper which comes from the factory.
If your limit switch is "Normally Closed": Remove the J2 Jumper.
-
In case of swimming pools without automatic cover, just leave the J2 Jumper as
it comes from the factory.
