11 PROBLEMS - CAUSES - REMEDIES
Problems
The machine does not switch on.
The coffee does not pour out.
The capsule holder does not close.
If the causes of malfunctioning of the machine are not listed in this table or if the remedies offered do not resolve the problem contact a specialised technician.

Causes
The main switch is off (in the "O" position).
Plug not inserted.
The machine is blocked by lime scale.
The capsule does NOT conform to the capsule holder
installed in the machine.
Capsule inserted wrongly.
Check that the used capsule collection drawer is not full. Empty the drawer being careful that the capsules do not fall
Remedies
Press the switch to the "I" position.
Insert the electrical plug into an electrical socket that con-
forms to the norms.
Carry out scale removal as described in this manual.
Substitute the capsule with a conforming capsule
Remove the capsule and substitute it with a new capsule
taking care to position it as indicated in the manual.
