Side discharge chute (if provided): as well as

at the side, this is also a safety element that

from being hurled away from the machine.

Handle: this is the operator's work station.

Series): it is the lever enabling the cutting
means and drive engagement. The motor
stops when both levers are released.

that engages the wheel drive and allows
the machine to move forward.

ASSEMBLY
The safety regulations to follow are described in
chap. 2. Strictly comply with these indications to avoid
serious risks or dangers.
For storage and transport purposes, some components of
the machine are not installed in the factory and have to be
assembled after unpacking. Follow the instructions below.
Unpacking and completing the assembly should
be done on a flat and stable surface, with enough spa-
ce for moving the machine and its packaging, always
making use of suitable equipment. Do not use the ma-
chine until all the indications provided in the "ASSEM-
BLY" section have been carried out.
4.1
ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS
The packaging includes assembly components.
4.1.1
Unpacking
1.
Carefully open the packaging, paying
attention not to lose components.
2.
Consult the documentation in the box,
including these instructions.
3.
Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.
4.
Dispose of the box and packaging in
compliance with local regulations.
Before assembling, make sure the safety key is
not inserted in its housing.
4.2
GRASS CATCHER ASSEMBLY
Follow the indications provided in the instructions
provided with the grass catcher.
4.3
HANDLE ASSEMBLY
• Type "I"
Assemble the handle as illustrated in (Fig.3.0).
• Type "II" - Advanced Series
Assemble the handle as illustrated in (Fig.4.0) (Fig.8.0).
4.4
ASSEMBLY OF THE REAR DISCHARGE
GUARD PIN (FOR CR/CS SERIES ONLY)
Insert the pin as illustrated in (Fig.9.0).
5.
CONTROLS
5.1
SAFETY KEY (DEACTIVATION DEVICE)
The key (Fig.10.A) found inside the battery compartment
enables / disables the machine electric circuit.
Removing the key, the electric circuit is completely
deactivated to prevent uncontrolled use of the machine.
IMPORTANT Remove the safe key whenever
the machine is unused or left unattended.
5.2
HANDLE - TYPE "I"
5.2.1
Control lever
The control lever starts/stops the motor and
simultaneously engages/disengages the cutting means.
The positions indicated correspond to:
1.
Run. To start the motor, press the
safety button (Fig.11.A), pull one of the
two levers (Fig.11.B) and wait for 2-3
seconds for the motor to start running.
2.
Ignition of the motor simultaneously
engages the cutting means.
3.
Stop. The motor stops when both
levers (Fig.11.B) are released.
