c. Remove the outer protection plate by sliding a finger nail around the edge next to the locking tabs and easily prying it out. Remove the inner
protection plate by lifting slightly and sliding it up and out of its channel grooves (Fig. 21c & 21d).

d. A new clear inner protection plate will have a protective plastic film on it. Before inserting new protection plates, remove any protective film on
the plates and insert them back into their appropriate positions (Fig. 21e, 21f & 21g).

e. To replace the battery, on the front of the ADF, locate the small cutout at the bottom. Pry the battery holder out with a fingernail or small screw
driver. Replace with a new CR2450 disc style battery and reinsert the battery holder (Fig. 21h). All the indicator lights on the ADF should cycle
through.
