10 MAINTENANCE
a
For all maintenance operations in which the opera-
tor must work within the cladding or flue gas cham-
ber, or in contact with electrical or electronic parts,
it is MANDATORY to contact an authorised KLOVER
Technical Assistance Centre or qualified person-
nel. Prior to performing any maintenance operation,
adopt the following precautions:
make sure that the appliance is off and all its parts
have cooled down completely
make sure that the ashes are completely extin-
guished and cold
use adequate personal protective equipment as set
forth in the applicable regulations
make sure that the main switch of the power supply
line is turned off
make sure that the power supply cable, present on
the product and/or on any accessories installed, is
disconnected
use adequate equipment (ash tray, spout cleaning
brush, etc.) and comply with the occupational health
and safety regulations.
a
At the end of the cleaning and maintenance opera-
tions:
replace any worn or damaged parts with original
spare parts
reinstall all previously dismantled components and
restore all the normal operating conditions of the ap-
pliance and system
reinstall all the protections and re-enable all the
safety devices
perform an ignition and operation test to verify that
the product works properly.
l
Any problem affecting the appliance caused by lack
of cleaning will not be covered by the warranty. Fail-
ure to perform these operations could affect the
safety of the product.
Any waste generated with cleaning must be dis-
posed of in accordance with the waste disposal reg-
ulations.
l
The boiler body is treated with anti-oxidant paint in
order to protect it against oxidation in the event of
long periods of inactivity. During normal operation,
this paint no longer retains its original function and
any wear of the paint inside the combustion chamber
should not be regarded as a manufacturing defect.
