Anti-overheating safety device
Your radiator is fitted with a safe-
ty appliance that switches it off if
it overheats. If the heater stops
working, switch it off and inspect
the air inlet and outlet for block-
ages. Wait at least 30 minutes
for the protection system to re-
set before restarting the heater.
Maintenance
1. Always isolate the appliance
from the power supply and allow
it to cool down before carrying
out any maintenance work.
2. The most common cause of
overheating is the accumula-
tion of dust or lint in the radiator.
Regularly remove dust build-up:
switch off the radiator at the con-
trol panel and clean the grilles
and vents with a hoover.

If the heater does not work, or if
the safety appliance switches it
off again, take it to your nearest
service centre for inspection or
repair.
3. Clean the outside of the ap-
pliance by wiping it with a damp
cloth and drying it with a dry
cloth. Never immerse the appli-
ance in water or allow water to
enter the appliance.
4. Do not use abrasive products
on the radiator. Clean the appli-
ance with a cloth dampened (not
wet) with warm, slightly soapy
water only.
