USING A SOLO VOICE/
SPLIT KEYBOARD
OPERATION
In addition to an ORCHESTRA voice (described
in the previous section), the PSR-3500 makes
it possible to select
a SOLO voice which can
be played alone, together with the ORCHES-
TRA voice, or on the upper (right-hand) sec-
tion of the keyboard while the ORCHESTRA
voice is played on the lower (left-hand) section
of the keyboard (split keyboard). The SOLO
voice is a "monophonic"' voice, meaning that
only one note can be played at a time. The
SOLO voice is therefore ideal for playing
single-note melody lines.
Selecting a SOLO Voice
To select a SOLO voice, first use the VOICE
SELECT PART SELECT button to select SOLO
voice (the SOLO indicator to the right of the
VOICE display should light). When this is
done, the number of the current SOLO voice
will be displayed on the VOICE display (PIANO
1 is selected automatically when the power is
initially turned ON).

Neben den im vorangehend Kapitel beschrie-
benen ORCHESTRA-Stimmen kónnen Sie auch
sogenannte SOLO-Stimmen abrufen, die Sie
alleine oder bei geteiltem Manual in der rechten
Manualhálfte spielen und mit einer ORCHES-
TRA-Stimme kombinieren kónnen, die dabei
dem linken Manualbereich zugewiesen wird. Bei
den SOLO-Stimmen handelt es sich um mono-
phone Stimmen, d. h., daf diese Stimmen nur
jeweils eine Note gleichzeitig erzeugen kónnen
und sich daher besonders für Solomelodien
eignen.
Abruf einer SOLO-Stimme
Um eine SOLO-Stimme abzurufen, müssen Sie
zuerst mit der VOICE SELECT PART
SELECT-Taste auf die SOLO-Stimmenart
schalten, was durch Aufleuchten der SOLO-
Anzeige bestátigt wird. Danach wird die
Nummer der gegenwártig aktivierten SOLO-
Stimme vom VOICE-Display angezeigt (Beim
Einschalten wird automatisch PIANO 1
vorgewählt).

En plus de la sélection d'une voix ORCHES-
TRA (décrite dans le chapitre précédent), le
PSR-3500 permet la sélection d'une voix
SOLO pouvant étre jouée seule, ou mélangée à
la voix ORCHESTRA, ou encore jouée sur la
section haute (main droite) alors que la voix
ORCHESTRA est jouée sur la section basse
(main gauche) du clavier (mode split). La voix
SOLO est une voix monophonique, ce qui veut
dire qu'une seule note peut étre jouée à la fois.
La voix SOLO est donc idéale pour jouer des
lignes de mélodie à une seule note.
Sélection d'une voix SOLO
Pour sélectionner une voix SOLO, utiliser
d'abord la touche VOICE SELECT PART
SELECT pour sélectionner voix SOLO (le
témoin SOLO situé à droite de l'affichage
VOICE doit s'allumer). Lorsque ce témoin est
allumé, le numéro de la voix SOLO sélection-
née est indiqué sur l'affichage VOICE (la voix
PIANO 1 est automatiquement sélectionnée à
la mise sous tension de l'instrument).

En adición a la voz ORCHESTRA (descrita en
la sección previa), el PSR-3500 hace posible la
selección de voces de SOLO que se pueden tocar
solas, junto con una voz de ORCHESTRA, o en
la sección superior (lado derecho) del teclado
mientras se toca la voz de ORCHESTRA en la
sección inferior (lado izquierdo) del teclado
(teclado dividido). La voz de SOLO es una voz
"топоббпіса", lo que significa que sólo se
puede tocar una nota al mismo tiempo. La voz
de SOLO es por lo tanto ideal para tocar líneas
de melodia de nota sencilla.
Selección de una voz de SOLO
Para seleccionar la voz de SOLO, primero use el
botón VOICE SELECT PART SELECT para
seleccionar Ja voz de SOLO (el indicador SOLO
en la derecha del visualizador VOICE debe
encenderse). Cuando se haya hecho esto, el
nümero de la voz de SOLO actual se visualizará
en el visualizador VOICE (PIANO 1 se selec-
ciona automáticamente cuando se conecta
inicialmente la alimentación).
