BEFORE SWITCHING ON THE
POWER
Make sure the TIMER switch is set to the OFF position,
except in the case of unattended
recording. If set to
RECORD, switching on the power will start recording.
POWER SUPPLY
Plug the AC cord that extends from the rear panel into
an AC household outlet, and power will be supplied to
the deck when you press the POWER
button. You can
switch the power off by releasing the same
button.
K, Ki MODEL
ATTENTION:
The K,Ki1 model
(for U.K.) is supplied
without a mains plug fitted. See IMPORTANT on rear
page for details of the cord wiring instructions.
INSERTING
CASSETTES

1) Press the EJECT button to open the cassette holder.
2) Insert the cassette with the exposed section of the
tape
pointing
downwards.
The
fabel
of the side
desired for play should be visible to the user.
The AMTS (Anti-Modulation Tape Stabilizer) holds the
cassette firmly.
Auto Tape Selector
This deck employs an Auto Tape Selector which auto-
maticaliy detects the type of tape being used and sets
the required parameters.
VOR DEM EINSCHALTEN
DER
STROMVERSORGUNG
Sicherstellen, daB der Timer-Schalter (TIMER) auf OFF
(aus) gestellt ist (auBer wahrend einer unbeaufsichtigt-
en Aufnahme). Falls der Schalter auf RECORD
steht,
beginnt
mit
Ejinschalten
der
Stromversorgung
die
Aufnahme.
SPANNUNGSVERSORGUNG
Das Netzkabel, das sich an der Geraterickwand
befin-
det, an eine Netzsteckdose anschlieBen. Durch Drucken
der POWER-Taste wird das Gerat ein- und durch erneu-
tes Drucken wieder ausgeschaltet.
EINLEGEN
DER KASSETTE

1) Dis Auswurftaste (EJECT) driicken, so daB sich das
Kassettenfach 6Offnet.
2) Die Kassette mit der Bandéffnung
nach unten und
mit der Seite, die wiedergegeben werden soll, nach
vorne einlegen.
Eine
spezielle
,AMTS"-Einrichtung
(Anti-Modulation
Tape
Stabilizer)
sorgt
far einen
stabilen
Sitz
der
Cassette.
Auto-Bandsortenwahler
Dieses Gerat besitzt einen Auto-Bandsortenwahler, der
die verwendete Bandsorte selbsttatig erkennt und die
ndtigen Einstellungen vornimmt.
