Maintenance
Install the suction/pressure valve correctly
WARNING!
During installation it is essential to ensure that the suction/pressure valves are
installed according to the direction of flow!

The direction of flow is marked by an embossed arrow on the suction/pressure
valves.
NOTICE!
Always comply with the values specified in
and intactness of the thread. The tightening torques of the pump head screws
are also specified on the pump head.

Replacing the pump head, diaphragm and protective diaphragm

CAUTION!
Diaphragm:
– Before changing the diaphragm, the pump must always be placed in
maintenance mode, see
position' on page 57 .
– Only tighten diaphragms by hand and do not use any tools .
The service life of the diaphragm depends on the following:
– back pressure
– operating temperature
– and metering medium
We recommend changing the diaphragms after max. 400 operating hours
or annually. The replacement intervals are, however, dependent on the
abrasiveness of the substances to be metered.
You should conduct extra checks in extreme operating conditions.
