TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
Starting
failure
Cannot see
"spark"
Is compression
sufficient?
Is fuel drawn into
the cylinder?
1. Remove spark plug, and with its metal
part touching the cylinderhead, try to
build sparks in the spark plug.
2. If no spark flies between the electrodes
of the spark plug, replace it.
3. If still no spark, a qualified
service shop to check the engine.
1. Check compression by pulling starter
handle slowly.
If
compression
tightness of the spark plug and other
parts, and tighten all loose parts.
2. If compression is still low, have a
qualified service shop to check the
engine.

"CHOKE",
pull
several times and remove spark plug.
If the end of the spark plug is wet with
fuel, fuel suction is in order.
2. If fuel is not drawn properly, check the
carburetor entry and fuel strainer entry
for possible blockage.
3. When fuel is properly drawn and still
the engine cannot be started, try with
new fuel.
