INTRODUCTION - IMPORTANTADVICES
TAS or technician should be trained correctly to install and operate with
this lift. Do not attempt to install this lift without proper lifting tools and
preventive equipment. Thismanual must be understood and followed to
insure proper to prevent serious bodily harm and void product warranty.
Please, read carefully warranties excluded.

HAZARD LEVELS
Be careful with next hazard levels:
DANGER
DANGER!
It Means: Situation ofimmediate hazards, which could result in severe
personal injury or death.
WARNING
WARNING!
It Means: Conditions of hazards or unsafe practices, which could result
in severe personal injury or death.
CAUTION
CAUTION!
It Means: Conditions to adopt preventive systemsdue to hazards or
unsafe practices which may result in minor personal injury, product or
property damage.
OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY
To maintain the lift and user safety, the responsibility of the owner is to
read and follow these instructions:
• Follow all installation, maintenance and operation instructions.
• Make sure that installation conforms to all applicable local rules, and
regulations.
• Carefully check the lift when you received it and advice for any
anomaly.
• Read and follow the safety instructions. Keep them readily available
for machine operators.
• Remark working area properly.
• The floor where the lift has to be installed should have right quality,
level, dimensions and hardness concrete.
• Cracket or defective concrete may cause injury or dead.
• Electrical installation should admit new machines.
• The machine will be installed or stored in indoor location only.
• Take care and responsibility of packaging.
• Know all safety systems and maintain them in good conditions.
• Make certain that all users are properly trained, know how to safely
and correctly operate, and are properly supervised.
• Allow unit operation only with all parts in place and operating safely.
• Carefully inspect and maintain the unit following this manual.
• Service and maintain the unit only with new and approved spare
parts.
• Keep always visible the manual with the lift.
• Provide workers of tools to some operations that will require it.

CARRIER IS HERE
Receiving:The shipment should be carefully inspected as soon as you
received it. Remark and write on the transport document (Bill of Lading,
CMR, Airwaybill) if any of the goods are damaged or missing.
Notify the carrier immediately sothe carrier can make an inspection.
If the carrier will not admit so, do not accept goods.
Please, you should understand that this is the only way that
Velyen can help you to claim the carrier.
TAS or TECHNICIAN´S RESPONSIBILITY
• TAS or technician should be trained to operate with lifts.
•
Make sure that technician conforms to all applicable local rules,
and labour and safety regulations.
• Inspect that the site where the lift is to be installed will fit according
dimensions and technical requirements.
•
Inspect that the floor where the lift has to be installed should have
right quality, level, dimensions and hardness concrete. Any defective
concrete should inform property, could cause lift failure resulting in
personal injury or death
•
The lifts are NOT supplied with anchor bolts. You have the option
to buy the bolts from Velyen or buy them yourself provided they meet
the torque specifications given hereafter.
• Should change any damaged spare part with new and original
ones.
• Should follow and complete the manufacturer's form "Assembly
Check-List" and send back to the factory for its registration in the
official warranty system of the manufacturer.
• Should give a training of safeties and operation to the owner or
operator.
• Clean and leave lift in perfect conditions of use.
• Velyen lifts are designed to be installed in indoor locations only.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND AUXILIARY
Personal protective equipment is required to protect technical risks that
could threaten their safety or health; Use suitable work clothing. You
must use appropriate tools and safe loading, unloading and handling.
You must use all kinds of professional tools to install correctly and
without damaging the equipment. Must use protect electrical
equipment and cloth.
