3. Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with fuel (fuel / oil mixture). Fill to the bottom edge of
the filler neck.
4. Be careful not to spill fuel
5. Tighten the tank cap as much as possible.
6. After refueling, clean the tank cap and its surroundings and make sure the cap is sealed.
Refuel in a well ventilated area with the engine stopped. If the engine was in use directly be-
fore refueling, let it cool down first. Never refuel the machine in a building where petrol vapors
can reach flames or sparks.
Petrol is highly flammable and explosive. When handling fuel, you can be burned or seriously
injured.
Turn off the engine and keep it away from heat, sparks and flames.
Just refuel outside.
Wipe up spilled petrol immediately.
ATTENTION!
Always pre-mix the intended oil volume in half the fuel volume to produce the fuel / oil
mixture, and then add the remaining fuel volume. Shake the finished mix well before
filling the mix into the auger.
It is not advisable to add more engine oil than specified to ensure safe operation. This will only
result in increased combustion residue production that will pollute the environment and clog
the exhaust channel in the cylinder as well as the muffler. Also, fuel consumption will increase
and performance will decrease.
Fuel storage
Fuels have a limited shelf life. Fuel and fuel blends age by evaporation, especially at high
temperatures. Aged fuel and fuel mixes can cause starting problems and damage the
engine. Buy only that amount of fuel, which will be consumed in the coming months. At high
temperatures, once the fuel has been mixed, it should be consumed within 6-8 weeks.
Store fuel only in suitable containers, in dry, cool and safe places.
ATTENTION!
Avoid contact with skin and eyes! Mineral oil products degrease your skin. If your skin
comes into contact with these substances repeatedly and for a long period, it will dry out.
Various skin diseases can result. Also, allergic reactions are known to occur.
The eyes can be irritated by contact with oil. If oil gets into your eyes, flush them immediately
with clean water. If your eyes are still irritated, see a doctor immediately.
ATTENTION!
Check the fuel lines, fuel tank cap, and fuel tank for leaks or breaks.
Do not start the machine with such damage.
Do not refuel the machine when the engine is still hot or running.
