Air filter
Regular cleaning of the air filter prevents carburetor malfunction.
Clean the air filter and replace the air filter element:
1. Loosen the screw (E) of the air filter housing (3), remove the air filter cover and check.
Replace the damaged element.
2. Wipe off any dirt inside the filter housing with a clean, damp cloth.
3. Carefully remove the foam filter insert (F) and check that it is not damaged; replace it if
necessary.
4. Clean the foam filter insert (F) in warm water and a mild soap solution. Rinse well with
clean water and let it dry.
5. Replace the foam filter insert (F) and replace the air filter housing.
6. Do not run the engine without an air filter or when it is damaged. This can cause engine
damage. In this case: The manufacturer is not liable for damages derived from it; the risk
rests exclusively with the user.
DANGER
Do not use petrol or cleaner. Risk of explosion.
