7. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Lubricate with lithium-based grease. Use a grease gun to add the grease through the grease
nipple (1) on the gearbox to lubricate it. Perform lubrication every 20 working hours.
- After 100 hours of operation: Clean the fuel tank and replace the spark plug
- After 300 hours of operation: Replace air filter
ATTENTION!
Important notice in case of repairs: When sending earth drills for repair, keep in mind that, for
safety reasons, they must be delivered to the service station without oil or petrol.
DANGER
Do not smoke and do not open fire. Risk of explosion.
Cleaning the machine
-We recommend that you clean the device immediately every time you finish using it.
-Clean the equipment regularly with a damp cloth and a little mild soap.
-Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the
equipment.
-Make sure no water gets into the device.
Earth auger maintenance
-For all work on the machine, it is necessary to remove the spark plug cap and the spark
plug (high voltage).
-Follow the maintenance schedule.
-Daily before starting work
-Check the fuel tank and fuel lines for tightness.
-Check the mounting parts, the exhaust cover, the air filter cover, the oil, the position of the
auger and the operation of the operating elements.
-After 20 hours of operation
-Clean the air filter and check the spark plug.
