Changing the menu language:
The tester is set by default to English; to change the language of the device to
Polish, select SYSTEM SETUP, then LANGUAGE and change the language.
Description of main menu functions
Quick Test – quick battery test function
Battery in Vehicle – test function for the battery installed in the vehicle, starter
test, alternator test
Out of Vehicle – disconnected battery test function
Voltometer – voltmeter, displays battery voltage in real time
Reviewed Data – this function displays the last memorised battery test results
System Setup – tester settings
Quick battery test: select from the menu item: "Quick Test" then enter the rated
capacity of the battery in the range 30-220 Ah and confi rm it. The tester will
display the test results.
GOOD BATTERY (battery OK), GOOD RECHARGE (battery OK, charge), RE-
PLACE (battery worn out, replacement recommended), BAD CELL, REPLACE
(battery defective, replace), CHARGE-RETEST (unstable battery operation,
charge and retest).
Test of the battery installed in the vehicle: select from the menu item: "Battery
in Vehicle" then "Battery Test" and select using the arrows the type of battery
to be tested and confi rm. After approximately 5 seconds, the tester will display
the test results.
GOOD BATTERY (battery OK), GOOD RECHARGE (battery OK, charge), RE-
PLACE (battery worn out, replacement recommended), BAD CELL, REPLACE
(battery defective, replace), CHARGE-RETEST (unstable battery operation,
charge and retest).
Starter test: select "Battery in Vehicle" from the menu item, then "Cranking Test",
confi rm, then start the vehicle engine, the tester will automatically complete the
starting test and display the result (usually if the starting voltage value is below
9.6 V it is considered incorrect).
Alternator test: Select from the menu item "Battery in Vehicle" then "Charging
test" then follow the instructions on the tester display: step 1. Turn off lights and
air conditioning for 10 seconds, press ENTER to continue. 2. Turn off all equip-
ment and rev the engine 2500-3000 rpm for 10 seconds, press ENTER to con-
tinue. 3. Turn the lights and air conditioning on to max level, keeping the engine
idling for 10 seconds, press ENTER to continue. Once the test is complete, the
tester displays the voltage and charge test results: NORMAL (normal result), NO
OUTPUT (no charging, check alternator or contact service).
Disconnected battery test: Select "Out of Vehicle" from the menu item then use
the arrows to select the type of battery to be tested, confi rm. After approximately
5 seconds, the tester will display the test results.
