PLACE (battery worn out, replacement recommended), BAD CELL, REPLACE
(battery defective, replace), CHARGE-RETEST (unstable battery operation,
charge and retest).
Voltage meter: Select "Voltometer" from the menu item, confi rm. The voltmeter
will display the battery voltage in real time.
Contrast adjustment of the tester screen: Select "System Setup" from the menu
item, then "Contrast", and use the arrows to select the desired value and confi rm.
DEVICE MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Clean the tester housing with a slightly damp cloth (water) and wipe it dry. Never
immerse the tester in water or other liquids. Keep the tester clamps clean. If there
are signs of corrosion or patina, clean the metal parts with a cleaning agent for
the copper electrical terminals. Store the tester separately so that it is not ex-
posed to impacts, e.g. from other tools in the toolbox. The storage area should be
shaded and well-ventilated. It should also protect against unauthorised access,
especially by children.
