Notes on connections
e Use the appropriate connecting cords for the
equipment. Refer to the operating instructions.
¢ The jacks of this system are RCA-type
pin
jacks.
To connect a record player
Connect an optional AIWA PX-E900 or PX-E750
(with equalizer amplifier) to the PHONO IN jacks.
When connecting other turntables, use one which
has a built-in phono equalizer amplifier to adjust
the output level.
MONITOR OUT jack
The MONITOR OUT jack outputs the video signal
coming from either the VIDEO 1 IN or VIDEO 2 IN
jack, according to the selection of the FUNCTION
select buttons.
The "VIDEO
1" or the "VIDEO
2" indicator is
displayed respectively.
:C OUT jacks
ihe AUDIO jacks output the audio signal coming
from
the source
selected
by the amplifier
FUNCTION select buttons.
When the VIDEO 1/DAT function button is pressed,
however, no audio signal is output.
To adjust
the input
level
of equipment
connected to the VIDEO 1/DAT IN jacks
1 Press the VIDEO 1/DAT function select button
and play the connected equipment.
2 Turn the VIDEO 1/DAT IN INPUT LEVEL knob
on the amplifier's rear panel until the level of the
sound being heard becomes the same as that
of other function sources.

Para conectar un giradiscos
Conecte un giradiscos PX-E900 0 PX-E750 AIWA
opcional (con amplificador-ecualizador) a las
tomas PHONO IN.
Para conectar otro giradiscos, utilice uno que
posea amplificador-ecualizador incorporado a fin
de ajustar ei nivel de salida.
Toma de salida para monitor (MONITOR OUT)
La toma MONITOR OUT da salida a las sefales
de video procedentes de la toma VIDEO 1 INo
VIDEO 2 IN, de acuerdo con lo que haya elegido
con los botones selectores FUNCTION.
Se encendera,
respectivamente,
el indicador
'VIDEO 1" 0 "VIDEO 2".
Tomas de salida para grabacion (REC OUT)
Las tomas AUDIO dan salida a la sefal de audio
procedente de la fuente elegida con los botones
selectores FUNCTION.
Sin embargo, si presiona el botén selector de
funcié6n VIDEO 1/DAT, no saldra sefal de audio.
Para ajustar el nivel! de entrada del equipo
conectado a las tomas VIDEO 1/DAT IN
1 Presione el botén selector de funcién VIDEO
1/DAT y ponga en reproduccién el equipo.
2 Gire el control VIDEO 1/DAT IN INPUT LEVEL
del panel posterior del amplificador hasta que
el nivel del sonido escuchado sea igual al de
otras fuentes.
