Tape types
:
Normal (type 1), CrOe (type II) or Metal (type IV)
tapes can be used.
The tape type is recognised and equalization is
changed automatically when a tape is inserted.
When listening to a tape recorded with Dolby
NR
To play a tape recorded using Dolby B NR:
Press the DOLBY NR button repeatedy until the
"OO B NR" indicator lights.
To play a tape recorded without Dolby C NR:
Press the DOLBY NR button repeatedly until
the '00 C NR' indicator lights.
To play a tape recorded without Dolby NR:
Press the DOLBY NR button repeatedly to turn
off the indicator
To select the reverse mode (deck 2 only)
Press the REVERSE
MODE
button repeatedly

To play both sides one time only:

To play both sides repeatedly:

On deck 1, both sides are played once.
To wind quickly
In the stop mode
Press the <#<4@/MS or MS/
button and then
press the @ STOP/COUNTER
RESET button
to stop winding.
During ptayback
Hold the <#<4/MS or MS/
button down. The
tape is wound with a chattering sound and
playback resumes when the button is released.
When both decks 1 and 2 are in the playback
mode
The sound from deck 2 is heard.
_When playback starts on the reverse side
'Yn deck 1, the tape always stops when
the
everse side is played once.
On deck 2, the tape stops when the reverse side
is played once if is selected, or 8 times if( =)
is selected.
Notes on the tape counter
¢ The tape counter always displays the count for
deck 2 if a tape is in deck 2, even if playback is
from deck 1. To display the count for deck 1,
deck 2 must be empty.
e If the @ STOP/COUNTER RESET
button is
pressed with the tape already stopped, or if the
tape is ejected, the counter for that deck is
reset.
e When the playing tape side is reversed, the
counter is also reversed.
Note
Noise may be heard if a television setis on. In this
case, turn off the television or move the television
away from the system.
Tipos de cintas

Paraescuchar unacinta grabada cone! sistema
de reduccion de ruido Dolby
Para reproducir una cinta grabada con el sistema
de reduccién de ruido Dolby B:
Presione repetidamente el botén DOLBY NR
hasta que se encienda e! indicador "OO B NR".
Para reproducir una cinta grabada con el sistema
de reduccién de ruido Dolby C:
Presione repetidamente el boton DOLBY NR
hasta que se encienda el indicador "O00 C NR".
Para reproducir una cinta grabada sin el sistema
de reduccién de ruido Dolby:
Presione repetidamente el boton DOLBY NR
hasta que se apague el indicador.
Para seleccionar el modo de inversion (deck 2
solamente)
Presione
repetidamente
el boton
REVERSE
MODE
hasta que se encienda el indicador de
modo deseado.
Para reproducir una cara solamente:
Haga que se encienda
el indicador
= .
Para reproducir ambas caras una sola vez:
Haga
que
se encienda
el indicador =).
Para reproducir repetidamente ambas caras:
Haga que se encienda el indicador( =).
En el deck 1 las dos caras del casete se
reproduciran una vez.
Para bobinar rapidamente la cinta
En el modo de parada Presione el bot6n <<@/
MS o MS/® y después el bot6én HH STOP/
COUNTER RESET afin de parar el bobinado.
Durante la reproduccién
Mantenga presionado el bot6n <4/MS o MS/
bP. La cinta se bobinara con un sonido de
murmullo
y, cuando
suelte
el boton,
se
reanudara la reproduccién.
Si pone ambos decks, 1 y 2, en el modo de
reproduccién
Se oird el sonido procedente del deck 2.
Siinicialareproduccion desde la cara posterior
Eneldeck 1, lacinta se parara siempre cuando se
haya reproducido una vez la cara posterior.
En el deck 2, si ha seleccionado ) se parara
cuando se haya reproducido una vez la cara
posterior, o si ha seleccionado( =), se parara 8
veces.
Notas sobre el contador de Ia cinta
e El contador de la cinta indicara siempre la
cuenta del deck 2 si hay cinta en el midmo,
incluso aunque esté reproduciendo en el deck
1. Paraque se visualice la cuenta dela cinta del
deck 1, el deck 2 tendra que estar vacio.
Sipresiona el boténll STOP/CONTER RESET
con la cinta ya parada, o si extrae el casete, el
contador para tal deck se repondra a cero.
e Cuando se invierta la cara de reproduccién, se
invertira también el contador.
Nota
Es posible que se oiga ruido si hay un televisor
encendido. En tal caso apague el televisor o
separelo de este sistema.
