About STSD (Same Tape Side Dubbing)
This feature allows both sides of the dubbed tape
to match those of the original tape.
Press the REVERSE MODE button to select the
"or( "mode. The reverse sides of both tapes
will start at the same time as soon as the longer
tape has been reversed.
e Ifthe leader segment of the tape to be recorded
on is longer than that of the tape to be played
back, recording on the reverse side may start
and stop midway. In this case, dub in the =
mode.
Notes on tape synchronized dubbing
e The same Dolby NR system used on the
recorded tape is automatically used on the
recorded tape.
e The recording tone quality cannot be adjusted
during the tape synchronized dubbing. However,
you can monitor the sound from the speakers
~- with the tone quality adjusted.
To dub with the recording tone quality adjusted
When dubbing with the SYNCHRO DUBBING
buttons, you cannot adjust the recording tone
quality.
To adjust the tone quality, proceed as follows:
1 Press the TAPE function select button on the
amplifier.
2 Play back the tape on deck 1.
3 Start
recording
on
deck
2 following
"RECORDING? on page 30.
e The tape is dubbed without the Dolby NR
process.
Therefore,
when
playing back the
tape dubbed with the procedure above, turn off
the Dolby NR.
To erase the recording
It is possible to create a blank section by erasing
the recording.
1 Press the TAPE function select button on the
amplifier.
2 Press the & STOP/COUNTER
RESET button
if deck 1 is in the playback mode.
\nsert a tape you want to erase into deck 2.
Set the reverse
mode
and the recording
direction. (See steps 3 and 4 on page 30.)
5 Press the @/O REC/REC MUTE button.
Note
Do not use deck 1 while erasing.
If noise occurs while dubbing
Turn off a nearby TV or move it away from the
system.

return, press the TAPE button.
Duplicaci6n dela misma cara del casete (STSD:
Same Tape Side Dubbing)
Esta funcion le permitira hacer que ambas caras
del casete duplicado sean idénticas a las del
casete original.

la grabacién de la cara posterior puede cesar
antes de que finalice la cinta original.

Notas sobre la duplicacién sincronizada
e En

e La cualidad tonal de la grabacién no podra
ajustarse durante la duplicacién sincronizada.
Sin embargo, usted podra escuchar el sonido a
través de los altavoces con la cualidad tonal
ajustada.
Para duplicar con la cualidad tonal de
grabacion ajustada
Cuando duplique utilizando el botén SYNCHRO
DUBBING, no podra ajustar la cualidad tonal de
grabacion.
Para ajustar la cualidad total, realice lo siguiente:
1 Presione el botén selector de funci6n TAPE de!
amplificador.
2 Ponga en reproducci6n la cinta del deck 1.
3 Inicie la grabaci6n en el deck 2 siguiendo el
procedimiento de "GRABACION' de la pagina
30.
e Lacintase duplicara sin el proceso de reduccién
de ruido Dolby. Por io tanto, cuando reproduzca
lacinta duplicada con el procedimiento anterior,
ponga DOLBY NR en OFF.
Para borrar material grabado
Usted podra crear una secci6n en blanco borrando
material grabado.
1 Presione el botén selector de funcién TAPE del
amplificador.
2 Presione el bot6n @ STOP/COUNTER RESET
si el deck 1 esta en el modo de reproduccién.
3 Inserte el casete que desee borrar en el deck 2.
4 Ajuste el modo de inversion y el sentido de
grabacién. (Consulte los pasos 3 y 4 de la
pagina 30.)
5 Presione el botén @/O REC/REC MUTE.
Nota
No emplee el deck 1 durante el borrado.
Si se produce ruido durante fa duplicacion
Apague el televisor que se encuentre cerca o
aléjelo del distema.
Para
escuchar
otra
fuente
durante
la
duplicacién
Presione el botén selector FUNCTION deseado.
Para volver a los decks, presione el bot6n TAPE.
