5.4.3 Safety instructions for cleaning tasks
• This machine is not suitable for cleaning surfaces
that are covered in toxic liquids or dirt. Do not use
the machine on stairs.
• This machine is only suitable for indoor use and
should not be used on roads.
• Always check that floor coatings are suitable for
cleaning with this machine.
• Exercise particular caution in places with
pressed area-elastic flooring, for example in
sports halls.
• When treating wet flooring, never use attach-
ments that are designed only for dry applications.

6. Maintenance and service
6.1 General information
The mains plug must be disconnected from the
mains socket before carrying out any work on the
machine!
Do not use water or other liquid cleaning agents!
All parts of the housing and operating
components and joints must be cleaned regularly
with dry, clean compressed air, or with a fine
brush or dry, lint-free cloth!
Make sure that the ventilation slits in the housing
are free and clean at all times!
Check the connection cable, mains plug and other
machine components regularly for visual damage
and have them replaced by your MENZER Service
workshop as needed!
All repairs on the machine and any works that
entail opening any of the machine components
must be carried out by MENZER Service!
In the case of use as a sanding machine -
never use the machine without an abrasive
attached. Sanding without an abrasive would
destroy the driving disc.
