SET THE DATE/SECURE THE CROWN
WARNING
Do not use the quick set function for the date
between 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. because there is
no assurance that the date will change at midnight
after that; it may not change for another 24 hours.

Pull the crown into posi-
tion 1.

Set the current date by rotat-
ing the crown counterclock-
wise.

Push the crown back to the
initial position.

MEASURE TIME (CHRONOGRAPH)
The chronograph can be used to measure time
intervals for up to 1 hour exactly to 1/ 8 second. The
time measured can be read using the seconds and
minutes counters.

Start measuring time using
the P1 pusher.
The seconds counter is
in motion.

To stop measuring time, press
the P1 pusher again and read
where it stopped.

Use the P2 pusher to reset all
the counters to zero.
TACHYMETER FUNCTION
The tachymeter is used to determine speed. It
measures the elapsed time needed to cover a spe-
cific distance. The distance covered must be
known so that the time can be stopped at an exact
time to determine the exact speed.

Start the tachymeter
function by using the P1
pusher. The seconds
counter is in motion.

To stop measuring time, press
the P1 pusher again. The sec-
onds counter stops immedi-
ately.

Read the average speed
by optical extension of the
seconds counter.
