COMMISSIONING AND USE

During the ignition phase and normal operation of
the appliance, keep at a safe distance from the appli-
ance and do not remain standing in front of it. Some
parts of the product (door, handle, adjusters, ceram-
ic parts) may reach very high temperatures. Be very
careful: adopt the appropriate precautions and wear
adequate personal protective equipment, especially
if there are children, elderly and disabled people and
animals.
During the ignition phase and normal operation of
the appliance, the door must ALWAYS remain closed
and the glass must be intact.
Keep any flammable products (e.g. wooden furni-
ture, tapestries, rugs, fabrics, clothing, ornaments,
flammable liquids, etc.) far away from the appliance.
9.5
OPERATING PHASES
During the normal operating phase, the
set the "SET ROOM" parameter (room temperature). Once the SET
ROOM value has been reached and provided that also all the other
thermostats and room sensors are fulfilled, the appliance will enter
the "MODULATION" economy operating mode (also consult the para-
graph
"Connecting the room thermostat or room
Once the SET ROOM value is reached:
- with "STAND-BY menu" enabled, the appliance will switch off
automatically by entering the "OK ST-BY" status after the time set
in parameter Pr44 (default 10 minutes). Once the switch-off phase
terminates, it will automatically start up again if the room temper-
ature drops to below the temperature difference set in parameter
Pr43 (default 1°C), namely Room temperature < ("SET ROOM" -
Pr43).
- with "STAND-BY menu" not enabled, the appliance enters the
"MODULATION" mode once the set room temperature is reached,
but will not switch off automatically.
If the above condition occurs when the switch-off cycle is not yet
completed, it is advisable to wait until the cycle terminates.
The pneumatic cleaning cycle of the brazier (indicated on the display
with "CLEANING FIRE-POT") is performed at pre-defined intervals for
a specific duration (see
"Parameter

SWITCH-OFF CYCLE
Pressing the
button on the remote control, or on the control panel

fitted on the unit, causes the appliance to switch off.
During the switch-off phase, "FINAL CLEANING" will appear on the
display.
Pellet loading will be interrupted and the fume extractor will continue
to work at maximum speed until the appliance cools and for a pre-de-
fined duration.
With the appliance switched off, the display shows the message "PEL-
LET OFF".
In addition, during this phase the brazier is cleaned and emptied.

the product or hamper its efficient operation.

It is possible to book the switch-off (prolonged

cle. The "AWAITING RESTART" message indicates
that the booking has been made. The appliance will
only switch on at the end of the switch-off cycle.
It is not possible to perform an immediate switch-on
while the switch-off cycle is being completed. Any
attempt at starting the appliance will be blocked and
the message "COOLING WAIT" will appear on the
display.

MODIFYING THE MAIN ROOM TEMPERATURE
SET-POINT
The SET ROOM menu allows for accessing and modifying the param-
eter that manages the main room temperature. Through this param-
eter, the product can be set to the minimum power once the set tem-
perature value has been reached.
The image below shows the screen within the "SET ROOM" menu.

stat connected to the appliance (optional), thus without any refer-

button or waiting a few seconds without confirm-

ing, the user will exit the menu without having saved the set value.
Once the SET ROOM value is reached, the appliance enters the "MOD-
ULATION" economy operating mode (also refer to the paragraph "

phases").
