11.13 CLEANING THE FLUE GAS CHANNEL
The flue gas channel must be cleaned depending on how frequently
the fume exhaust system tends to accumulate dirt, but nonetheless
ALWAYS at the start of the winter season, and whenever necessary.
The flue gas channel MUST be cleaned at least once a year.

Cleaning must be performed ONLY by an authorised
KLOVER Technical Assistance Centre or by qualified
personnel.

It is also important to check for any obstructions in
the flue before switching the appliance on following
long periods of inactivity. If the flue is not cleaned,
the operation of the appliance and of its components
could be hampered.
To clean the internal flue gas channel, proceed as follows:
- loosen the screws (1) of the side panel (wood side) (2) and remove
it

- unscrew the screws (3) on the fume crown and remove it
- loosen the screw (4) and remove the top inspection cap (5)

- use a spout cleaning brush to clean the fume passage
- remove the TEE cap (6) and clean away the residues.

To prevent residues from damaging the internal
structure of the DUAL AI, use a collection bag for any
excess deposit.
