5.1.2 Locking
1) quickLOK™ semi-automatic locking system
The semi-automatic locking and releasing system
(Figure 5.1-3) allows speeding up the locking.
TM
• Grip the quickLOK
tool with the LEFT HAND, at the
top only (arrow A).
• • Insert the taper (2a) fully onto the pivot (2b).
KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE AREA
UNDER THE RUBBER GUARD (2) ON THE quickLOK
• Insert locking tool (3) in the middle of the rim.
1.a) WI-FI-quickLOK™ Version
• press the locking switch (1) and keep the locking
system pressed fully home until it locks.
The wheel will be locked and ready for the tyre fi tting.
The warning light indicating the lock/release status on
the panel will turn on.
Always lubricate the contact surface between tyre and
rim, on both of them.
Note:
To preserve the battery of the built-in
transmitter in the clamping system, the
transmission given by continuously
operating the pushbutton (1) is interrupted
automatically after about 25 seconds.
Note:
in case of switch malfunctioning, activate
the system by acting on selector 3
(Figure 5.1-5).
Note:
in case of low battery level of the locking
system the warning light on the panel will
be intermittent. Replace the battery.
Note:
"If during the locking operation the button
(or switch) is kept pressed, the turntable
plate rotation does not stop with the
counter-rotation, but continues in the
same direction until the button (or switch)
is released. For safety reasons, rotation is
automatically ended by the machine after
approximately 15 seconds. You can make
another attempt after this time".
1.b) Standard quickLOK™ version
In the Quicklock version, not featuring the Wi-fi , wheel
correct locking must be verifi ed by visually checking the
red reference position (Figure 5.1-4) and, at the same
time, by the selector light turning on (3) (Figure 5.1-5).
