WDK procedure
Only for Gold and Platinum versions
For these tire changer versions no additional kits
or components are required to perform WDK tire
mounting/demounting procedures correctly.
The operating procedures described in this manual
comply with "WDK" tire mounting/demounting
procedure specifi cations.
SHOULD ANY FUNCTIONAL ANOMALIES BE
OBSERVED STOP WORKING AND CONTACT AN
AUTHORISED DEALER'S TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
SERVICE.

5.4.1 Demounting the tire
NOTE:
The operating procedures described below refer to
what has been described for conventional wheels, in
this OPERATING MANUAL.
Load and lock the wheel on the turntable as described
in the relative chapter.
Start the demounting procedure as described in the
instructions for conventional wheels.
Lubricate the tire abundantly during the bead breaking
phase.
Insert the automatic demounting tool between the
rim and the tyre (see the instructions for conventional
wheels in the OPERATING MANUAL) and position
the infl ation valve next to the automatic tool as shown
in Figure 5.4.1.
Take particular care to ensure that any pressure
sensors (eg.: T.P.M.S.) fitted on the rim are not
damaged when removing the tire.
Position the tire bead pusher device (MH) on the side
of the tire at approximately 180° from the automatic
demounting tool.
Lubricate the contact surfaces abundantly and press
down on the MH device.
Activate the upward action of the automatic demounting
tool to begin removing the upper bead.
