General information:
Always comply with the following information on chuck operation. Other-
wise you run the risk of injury due to ejection of the work piece or damage
to the chuck:
The factory has oiled the chuck for lubrication and corrosion pro-

tection. When the lathe with the new chuck is turned on for the first
time, the centrifugal force may cause the oil to spatter.
After assembling the chuck, check the function and ease of opera-

tion of the clamping jaw adjustment.
Never switch on the machine if the chuck key is still inserted!

From time to time, or after a tool collision, check the chuck for

signs of damage.
