OPERATION
Adding titles between scenes of camera output, and
recording on a VTR
1 Press the INPUT SELECT MAIN button on the XV-T500
so that the "1" lamp lights up.
2 Select the line input on the VTR and the television or
color monitor.
3 Press the MAIN button on the XV-T500.
4 Frame the object to be recorded in the video camera.
Set the VTR into the recording mode.
Output from the camera will be recorded.
5 When you reach the point where you want to add the
title, put the VTR into the recording pause mode.
6 Press the TITLE (M) button on the XV-T500.
7 'Release the pause on the VTR.
The title will be recorded.
8 When you want to resume recording from the video
camera output, press the MAIN button on the XV-T500.
Superimpesing titles on camera output, and recording on a
VTR
1 Press the INPUT SELECT MAIN button on the XV-T500
so that the "1" lamp lights up.
2 Select the line input on the VTR and the television or
color monitor.
3 Press the MAIN button on the XV-T500.
4 Frame the object to be recorded in the video camera.
Set the VTR into the recording mode.
Output from the camera will be recorded.

5 When you reach the point where you want to
superimpose the title, press the SUPERIMPOSE button
on the XV-T500.
The output from the video camera recorder, with title superimposed,
will be recorded on the VTR.
6 When you want to resume recording from video camera
output only, press the MAIN button on the XV-T500.
Inserting camera output, with a title superimposed, into a
previously recorded video program (insert recording)
1 Press the INPUT SELECT MAIN button on the XV-T500
so that the "1" lamp lights up.
2 Select the line input on the VTR and the television or
color monitor.
3 Find the point into which you want to insert the
superimposed material on the VTR and set the VTR into
the recording pause mode.
4 Frame the object onto which you want to superimpose
the title in the camera, and press. the SUPERIMPOSE
button on the XV-T500.
5 Release the pause on the VTR.
The material previously recorded on the recording VTR is erased and
the output from the video camera, with title. superimposed, will be
recorded on the VTR. .
6 When you reach a point where you want to stop
recording, stop the VTR.
