WARNING
Open the respective inner claw -2- completely before attaching
the cross bars (arrow A).
1.
Position cross bars, as specifi ed (see Fig. 3).
2.
Pull the spring-loaded rear claw -2- downwards and fold it under
the railing in a controlled manner. This prevents any damage to the
railing surface.
3.
Hook clip/stirrup -3- into rear claw -2-.
4.
Fold down locking lever -4-. When doing this, ensure that the small
red locking lever locks correctly on the locking lever. If necessary,
press the lever.
5.
Fold cover -1- down (arrow C) and lock.

Insert key -2- and turn it through 90° anticlockwise.
2.
Pull cover -1- outwards slightly (arrow A) and lower it downwards
(arrow B) until the T-groove is accessible.

If necessary, remove the cover profi le -2-, insert attachments/
brackets of the carrier system and attach them according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
2.
Adapt cover profi le -2- to fi t and insert these into open areas of
T-grove.
3.
Close cover -1- again (arrow) and lock.

Note
The locking lever and the retaining claw are under high tension when
closed. Store the cross bars with opened retaining claws (arrow), to
avoid unnecessary stress/loading on material.
Notes for removal

Removal is logically carried out in reverse order of fitting.
For easier removal, grasp the roof rail and push the support foot
upwards with the thumbs.
