ASSISTED MANUAL PROPULSION
In Assisted manual propulsion mode, there are 3 levels of help (position 1, posi-
tion 2 and position 3), each ith a light indicator on the display panel. Level 1 pro-
vides the least help and level 3, the most. Users can change bet een the three
levels using the buttons on the right handle. When the HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID
is s itched on, it ill al ays be in assisted manual propulsion mode, position 1.
The button with the up arrow increases the level and the button with the down
arrow is to switch to a lower level.
There is also a 8-speed gear train and gears can be selected using the levers on
the right grip.
Using Assisted manual propulsion mode
Hold the grip firmly and turn the Batec crank arms for ard, al ays
cables up.
hen the sensor in the axis of the pedals detects the force, it
activate the electric motor. Use the buttons to change the level of assistance
and use BATEC SHIFT LEVER.
MAGIC LEVER
Normal use
1. Put the MAGIC LEVER in position - B. ( ee fig. 44)
2. Push the pedal forwards. ( ee fig. 45)
If you can't start the handbike, use the COMBINED START
1.
Hold the MAGIC LEVER in position - C. ( ee fig. 46)
2. Push the pedal 1/16 of a turn for ards. ( ee fig. 47)
3. Release the MAGIC LEVER. ( ee fig. 48)
4. Push the pedal forwards.
Using No resistance mode
1.
Put the MAGIC LEVER in position - A. ( ee fig. 49)
2. Push the pedal forwards. ( ee fig. 50)
ELECTRIC PROPULSION MODE
