14.7 - PERMISSION
Permissions allow you to set access restrictions based on different groups, schedules, and qualifications per device,
as well as limit menu access to only the administrator(s).
The default menu permission is "USER". If you want to limit access to the settings menu, select "ADMIN" during the
enrollment of users who should have access.
14.8 - GROUP
By default only group 1 is available for selection, and the group menu is recommended to be configured first before
starting enrollment. Group 1 by default already gives "ACCESS ALWAYS ALLOWED" permission for all days of the
week and at all times.
The group selection of any enrolled user can be changed later or at any time using the "EDIT USER" option.
To facilitate selection during enrollment, the groups have an 8-character label that can be edited to associate the
name of a department, sector, block, etc.
14.9 - DEVICES
The permission restricts user access to only to the equipment with the address enabled. By default all addresses are
