20.5 - TAMPER
The biometrics has a tamper or break-in sensor, which is fired whenever the equipment is removed from the wall
mounting bracket. In case of violation or removal of support, this event is recorded every 30 seconds. The above
parameter can be disabled to avoid unnecessary records or if the installation does not make use of the support ac-
cessory.
20.6 - INPUTS
To use these parameters, the equipment must be connected to the WeGo Converter via RS485.
This screen allows you to view and test the status of the WeGo Converter's digital inputs. The BUTTON input is used
to release access when activated and is typically used as the USER EXIT button when the need for access control
only needs to be made for USER ENTRY accesses. The DOOR SENSOR input is normally used as an alarm sensor in
cases where a door, gate, or other doorway that must be kept closed at all times is not automatically closed.
When connected to the WeGo Converter, the boxes on the right will change color to indicate the status of the BUT-
TON and DOOR SENSOR inputs. Showing RED for the NON-ACTIVATED state and GREEN for the ACTIVATED state.
If the color of the box remains GRAY or unchanged during activations, check the connections to the WeGo Converter.
20.7 - WIEGAND
This parameter allows the setting of the number of bits to be processed in the WIEGAND input of the WeGo Convert-
er. The default is the 26-bit format, which is the number printed on the largest pair of RFID card models. The second
most common format is 34-bit, which serves formats with hexadecimal numbering. It is still possible to configure
Nice's proprietary 66-bit standard.
20.8 - VALIDATION MODE
In this screen the combined validation mode, double validation or even triple validation can be enabled.
The default mode is fingerprint, RFID or password validation. If a match is required, select the desired validation
modes. The ID option is only performed for combinations that include a PASSWORD and optionally for FINGER-
PRINTING, in the latter case allowing 1:1 validation.
When a validation mode is selected, all users must validate the combination in any order to access it.
