20.9 - FINGERPRINT
20.9.1 - SECOND FINGERPRINT
The enrollment of the second fingerprint is optional and can be enabled on this screen. By default, each user can
enroll up to one fingerprint, with the enrollment of a second fingerprint optional even if this parameter is enabled. The
option is useful due to the limitation of total fingerprints available.
20.9.2 - SECOND PANIC FINGERPRINT (COERCION FINGERPRINT)
This parameter allows you to enable the registration and sending of the PANIC EVENT. When enabled and connected
to the WeGo Converter, any validation that generates a PANIC EVENT also generates the activation of OUTPUT 2
(RELAY 2), which can be used to signal or activate alarms.
20.9.3 - CAPTURE QUALITY
The adjustment of the CAPTURE QUALITY is done due to eventual difficulties in the ENROLLMENT process. De-
pending on the differences in the characteristics of each person's fingerprint, it may be necessary to adjust this pa-
rameter in order to facilitate the user registration process. However, it is important to avoid degrading the quality of
the acquisition, as this will affect the result produced for later comparison in validation.
It is advisable to set up a MEDIUM ACCEPTANCE for ENROLLMENT and, if necessary, LOW REJECTION for valida-
tion, according to the difficulty reported by the users.
20.9.4 - PROCESSING INTERVAL
This parameter determines the amount of time the finger should remain on the sensor after the sensor captures a
quality image, according to the VALIDATION QUALITY parameter setting. The application will continue to search for
the best image within the configured time.
20.9.5 - VALIDATION QUALITY
The VALIDATION QUALITY adjustment is made due to any difficulties in the VALIDATION process, which consists
of putting the finger on the sensor to perform the access verification. The better the quality of the image obtained
for validation, the shorter the processing and validation time tends to be. Images captured with poor quality end up
providing little information for comparison, resulting in slower validation or rejection.
