OPERATION - General information
The below description goes with the image on page 2.

OPERATION - Using for the first time
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean the appliance (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
3. Put the plug in the wall socket and let the churros maker heat for 10 minutes. This way you remove any
packaging odor from the device.
ATTENTION:
•
The first time you use the device, there may be slight smoke and a specific odor. This is normal and will
disappear by itself. Ensure adequate ventilation.
•
Keep birds away from the device when the device is operating. Heating the non-stick coating on the
baking tray can release a substance that is harmful to birds.
OPERATION - Pre-heat
1. Insert the plug into the wall socket. Both lights will illuminate and the appliance will begin to heat up.
2. When the appliance is up to temperature and ready for use, the green light goes out. Heating up takes
approx. 3 minutes.
During the baking process the green light will go on and off because the automatic thermostat keeps the
appliance at the right temperature. This is normal.
OPERATION - USE
1. Prepare the churros batter according to the recipe on the package.
2. Pre-heat the device as described in "Pre-heating".
3. Place the desired amount of batter on the bottom baking tray. Prevent the batter from coming over the
edge of the baking tray. Close the lid.
4. During baking, turn the appliance over once or twice for an even distribution of the batter (see figure 2).
5. Bake the churros until they have the desired color.
6. Open the device when the churros are ready.
7. Carefully remove the churros with a heat-resistant wooden or plastic spatula
do not damage the non-stick coating.
8. When you have finished baking the churros, remove the plug from the wall socket and open the
appliance to let the baking plates cool down.
ATTENTION:
•
The normal preparation time is approximately 3 - 5 minutes. This depends on the batter used and your
personal taste. Keep the appliance closed during baking, as opening in the meantime can adversely
affect the appearance of the churros.

Do not use sharp forks or knives!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the device after each use.
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down completely.
2. Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth. If necessary, you can clean the baking plates with soapy
water. Ensure that no liquid enters the device.
3. Dry the device thoroughly after cleaning.
ATTENTION:
•
Make sure the device is not connected to the power outlet when cleaning.
•
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
when cleaning.
•
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
