This will eliminate any residue created during the manufacturing process. • The residue created during the manufacturing process may result in the unit emitting a faint burning smell when first turned on.

For other models, remove the barbecue lid before lighting, and place it behind the main body of the appliance on the notch supplied for this purpose, in order to form a windbreak during cooking or put it on the floor.
