IMPORTANT SAFETY

READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE.
• This product is intended to be used in
households and similar settings such
as: (IEC 60335-2-15)
* staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments
* by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential-type environments bed
and breakfast-type environments
• This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be carried out by children without
supervision.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
while plugged in or while still hot.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced with a special
cord or assembly available from the
manufacturer or service agent.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been
damaged in a fall or shows visible
signs of damage.
• Do not try to repair the product
by yourself. Instead, contact an
authorised Laurastar Customer
Service representative for repair
information.
Do not use an extension lead. If you
accept liability for doing so, only use
an extension lead which is in good
condition, has a plug with an earth
connection and is suited to the power
rating of the appliance.
• Care should be taken when using
the appliance due to the emission of
steam.
• Never direct the steam at people,
animals or electrical appliances of any
kind.
• Contact with steam under pressure
can result in severe burns.
• Use the protective glove when
steaming.
• Unplug the hygienic steamer when it is
not in use.
• Unplug the hygienic steamer during
filling and cleaning.
• Position the electric cable so that it
cannot be pulled or caught to avoid a
tripping hazard.
• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not
pull the electric cable from the wall
socket – take a firm hold of the plug
and remove it.
• The product must be placed on a
stable surface.
• Use the special filling bottle provided
in order to fill the appliance and avoid
overfilling.
