9 Disposal
Never dispose the Cordless Denibber Machine, accessories and packaging as well as bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries in household refuse. The consumer is legally obliged to re-
turn electrical and electronical devices as well as batteries/rechargeable batteries at the
end-of-lifetime at the public collection point or at the retailer.
The Cordless Denibber Machine has to be disassembled professionally and disposed at the end of life.
Electric and electronical devices can be returned free of charge at the following points:

Public disposal and collection points (e. g. municipal facilities).
▪
Retailers or outlets for electric devices (shops or online-shops), as long as the retailer is obliged to ac-
cept returns or when they offer it voluntarily.
NOTE
This information is only valid for devices which are installed and purchased within the
European Union and which are subject of the European Directive 2012/19/EU. For non-
EU countries different regulations may be valid for the disposal of electric and electronic
devices.
Used rechargeable batteries or waste batteries which are not firmly installed have to be removed before
disposal! The disposal of them is regulated by the EU-Directive 2006/66/CE from 6th September 2006.
Remove of the battery cells:

Loosen 4 screws (2) from the battery housing (1).
Push out the pins (3) downwards.
Cut the cable (5) and pull out the battery cells (4) from the
battery housing (1). Cut every single cable itself, otherwise it
could occur a short circuit. Observe that the battery pack
will not be damaged.
