3. if the pump does not start up correctly,
on reaching the operating conditions in
a short time, the pump shuts down.
4. in this case repeat the "Pump priming"
phase.
FLUSSCONTROL electronic device op-
eration
A green Power on led is present on the
front of the device to indicate the pres-
ence of power supply, in addition to a
yellow Pump on led to indicate that the
pump is operating.
On connection to the electrical mains, the
green and yellow leds turn on to indicate
activation of the pump (fig. 7/A), which re-
mains in operation for a few seconds to
enable pressurisation of the system.
if this time interval is insufficient, press
and hold the red Restart button and wait
for water to be delivered, with a utility
open. On closure of the utility, the device
stops the pump and sets to standby, with
the green indicator lit, ready for independ-
ent completion of all subsequent com-
mand and control operations (fig. 7/B). On
opening of a utility, the device starts up the
pump, which remains in operation as long
as the utility remains open (fig. 7/A). On
closure of the utility, the device restores
maximum pressure in the system, stops
the pump and returns to standby status
(fig. 7/B). if there is no water supply on
intake, Flusscontrol stops the pump (fig.
7/C) protecting it against dry running con-
ditions. Once the cause of this flow failure
has been eliminated, simply press the red
Restart button (reset) to restore normal
operating conditions. in the event of a
temporary power failure, the unit restarts
automatically when power is restored.

mAINTENANCE
Before any intervention on the
system, disconnect the electrical
mains. Ensure that the electrical
power supply cannot be restored inad-
vertently.
Refer to the "safety instructions".
• in normal conditions, the pumps do
not require any scheduled mainte-
nance.
• With a view to prevention of possible
faults, it is recommended to period-
ically check the pressure delivered
and current absorption. A reduction
in pressure is symptomatic of pump
wear. An increase in current absorp-
tion is symptomatic of abnormal
mechanical friction in the pump.
• Special maintenance may be required
to clean the pump and replace any
worn parts.
• if the pump is not used for prolonged
periods (e.g. for an entire season) it
should be drained completely rinsed
with clean water and stored in a dry
location.
QUICk TROUBLE-
SHOOTINg gUIDE
Refer to the "safety instructions".
The pump does not work
• No power supply = turn on the switch
and check that no electrical connec-
tions are loose or defective.
• Check the mains voltage
• Fuse blown = check that the cables
and relative connections are not de-
