premature failure of the activated carbon.
Regularly check the smoothness of the overflow
drain of the fuel tank to ensure smooth drainage
and prevent external moisture from entering the
inner cavity of the fuel tank.
Shift pedal lever
This type of motorcycle adopts
the normally-engaged six-gear
international gear (non-cycle)
shift mode, and the operation is
as shown in the figure. The
neutral
position
is
located
between the low gear and the
second gear. From the neutral position, step down
the shift lever to engage the low gear; every time the
shift lever is lifted up by the toe, the next high gear is
shifted; every time the shift lever is stepped on by
the toe, the next low gear is shifted.
Because of the ratchet mechanism, it is not possible
to raise or lower more than one step at a time.
Caution
When the transmission is in the neutral position,
the neutral indicator on the instrument will be illumi-
nated, and the clutch lever should be released
slowly to determine whether the transmission is in
the neutral position.
Rear brake pedal
When the rear brake pedal is
depressed, the rear brake is
engaged. When the rear brake is
operated, the brake lamp will
illuminate.
Side stand
The side stand is located on the left side of the
vehicle. Please support the side stand when parking.
The side stand has the function of automatic flame-
out: when the side stand is in the parking state
