ENGLISH
Completely unscrew the two yellow bushings connected to the peristaltic
pump hose (B. in figure).
Disconnect the two Teflon hoses from the couplers.
Pull outward the hose support (C. in figure) to extract it from the pump
body.
Remove hose and support by favouring the hose exit (A. in figure)
through the manual rotation of the cam and reject them.
Unloosen the coupler joining the non‐return valve (D. in figure) to the
injector plexiglas bloc.
Remove the non‐return valve and reject it.
Fit the new non‐return valve in place of the old one and deeply clamp the
coupler on the injector Plexiglas bloc. Adjust the vale hoses length by
using a hose cutter.
Fit the new hose of the pump by fixing firstly the support (C. in figure)
and then by fitting the hose under the cam; favours this operation by
manually rotating the cam.
Reconnect the two Teflon hoses to the relevant couplers.
Fully clamp the yellow bushings (B. in figure) and be sure the Teflon
hoses are correctly fitted, by pulling them.
Switch on Biox and press button "Manual dosing" (see Fig. 14). While
holding down the button check for the correct fitting of the hose under
the cam.
Reposition the bottle containing the chlorine dioxide solution into its
housing and clamp well the red cap.
Switch the Biox off and on again.
Hold down the button "Manual Dosing" until the dosing pump stops and
the yellow LED "Dosing" turns off (approx 5 seconds).
Repeat several times the operations described in the two points above
while being sure the chlorine dioxide solution is sucked by the pump,
reaches and passes through the non‐return valve and enters the Plexiglas
bloc of the injector. Check for the absence of leaks.
Remount the external cover of the Biox hydraulic component .
Re‐open the cock on the storage tank .
Switch on the machine, start it by picking water from a utility and check
for the correct operation of Biox, by checking the lights on the control
panel.
N.B.: The peristaltic pump hose and the non‐return valve have to be
disposed of as special waste.
