When measurement is finished, the result is
displayed. If you are measuring glucose,
please carry out the plausibility check
described below.
Test results which fall outside the measure-
ment range are displayed as Hi (above the
measurement range) or Lo (below the meas-
urement range).
When the result is displayed, the ev. 0 event
(no event) is displayed. For an explanation on
how to attach additional information to a
result, see section Flagging test results on
page 52.
Always carry out a plausibility check after
performing a glucose test.
12 Remove the test strip and turn it so that
the back is facing upwards.
13 Compare the colour of the round window
on the back of the test strip with the
colour field scale on the label of the test
strip container.
The colour of the round window must approxi-
mately match the colour assigned to your
measurement result. If the colours do not
match very well, perform a control test. Refer
to the Accutrend Glucose test strip package
insert for more information.
