Performing a Test
Flagging test results
Flags can provide additional information about the conditions when you performed the test (e.g.,
meals, sport, illness, etc). In addition, you can flag tests carried out with control solutions as
control tests. You can flag a test result at different points in time:
At the start of the test after inserting the test strip.

When the test result is displayed.
■
You cannot flag a result while a test is running.
Flagging the measurement as a control test:

You flag measurements as control tests when
they have been performed using a control solu-
tion (as described in the following chapter).
16 Press the M button (after inserting the
test strip or when the result is displayed)
to flag the measurement as a control test
(bottle icon). Pressing the M button again
turns the flag off.
