I Turning the fixed stitch/name label function on and off
• Carry out the following settings after the thread has been trimmed (or after the treadle has been depressed back-
ward for the 855A-A0 [ ]).
The condition changes as shown below each time the fixed stitch/name label key q is pressed.

Fixed stitch/name label sewing is carried out when the fixed stitch/name label indicator w is illuminated.

The sewing machine can be used to attach name labels.
• At the places marked with O, the sewing machine momentarily stops in the needle
down stop position. After turning the material, depress the treadle.
(For -90 [ ] specifications, the presser foot rises at each corner.)
• If automatic thread trimming has been set, the thread is trimmed at the sewing end.
