3) Deactivate temporarily the collar: Briefl y press, 1 to 2 seconds, the
the left of the remote control of the same colour as the collar): your collar is in stand-by (it is
temporarily switched off: no beep sounds whether the dog is pointing or moving). The LED is
still fl ashing to indicate that the collar is not defi nitely turned off.
4) Reactivate the collar after it was temporarily deactivated: if your collar has been temporarily
deactivated, press the locate button

5) Completely switch off the collar : 2 ways :
a) If you continuously press, (approximately 5 seconds) the
left of the remote control of the same colour as the collar) you will completely switch
off your collar.
b) Completely switch off the collar with the magnetic switch indicated by the red mark on
your remote control (see § Switching off the collar).
In these two cases, to turn your collar on again, you will have to use the magnetic switch
in your remote control: see § Switching on the collar (Warning: you will not be able to
remotely reactivate it).
Checking/replacing battery of remote control
To check the condition of the battery, observe the indicator light located on the front of the
remote control.
If the light indicator fl ashes green 3 times when you press a button, the battery is weak.
Performance (radio range) of the remote control deteriorates as battery becomes weak. You
should soon replace the battery.
When the battery is empty, you can not use the remote control. When pressing a button, the
LED located on the front of the remote control will not light.
NUM'AXES advises to use the same type and same brand of batteries as those supplied in your
new purchased product. Other brands of batteries may not operate, or may not be completely
compatible with your product. You can purchase the suitable batteries from NUM'AXES or
from your distributor.
Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one (3 V lithium CR2430) as follows:
- On the back of the remote control, unscrew the screw and remove the battery cover.
- Remove the old battery.
- Insert the new battery making sure the polarity "+" noted on the battery is visible (see
diagram 3).
- Put the battery cover back in place.
