Our cleaning programmers are custom designed to be
used on filtering systems. Each programmer has specific fea-
tures and range that you must know, so it is advisable to
follow the instructions to obtain the best performance.
It is important to check that the power supply voltage is the
required. If a battery operated programmer is used, check the
battery condition; keep in mind that battery life is limited.
To work inside the programmer, disconnect first the power
supply, to avoid the risk of electric shock. Install all the pro-
tection systems required by your country laws, and use a dif-
ferential as an added protection against short-circuit (not sup-
plied).
The programmers supplied independently from any filte-
ring system can be used on all the filtering systems, but requi-
re adjustment to the particular system model. A programmer supplied with a particular filtering system will be adjusted
to be used on it. If any change of settings is needed, follow the programmer/system instructions, or consult with your
dealer. The programmer must be protected from humidity, condensation, acids, shock and extreme temperatures.
To perform its task, the programmer relies on signals sent by the different sensors, pressure differential switches and
internal clock. A malfunction of any of these parts usually does not need a programmer change, being enough to subs-
titute the defective part.
The programmer actuates the electro valves, which can get clogged or damaged. This can usually be solved by chec-
king, cleaning or replacing the electro valves. The different programmer models are as follows: FLSO/FLS2, battery ope-
rated, to control a single station, Mini or FL4A to control up to four stations and with a 220V or 12V supply, Intelligent
Programmer FL8I, up to eight stations. More if used on slave mode with the main programmer and FL8A

Generalities
The LAMA FLS0 filter cleaning programmer with batteries
can operate with any model of filter, although managing a
single station or filter unit with impulse (LATCH) type control.
The power supply is carried out by means of two alkaline
batteries of 9V (6LF22/6LR61).
Operation
Check that the contact breaker is connected. If it is this
way, the system is working. Set the Periodic Flush (periodic
backwash of filters) to the wanted length.
The periodic flush resets itself automatically after each
backwash. For instance: If the 'periodic flush' is set for every
2 hours and the PD starts a cycle 1 hour later, the 'periodic
flush' will not begin the cycle 1 hour later but it will start again counting the 2 hours that were set at the 'periodic
flush'. Afterwards set the Backwash time according to the type of filter, dirtiness condition and water pressure.
Next set the PD gauge to the wanted setting: it is normally set for a differential P .D. according to the model of the

filter.
The programmer has a LED that lights notifying when a sign of
solenoid activation takes place (Pulse EV). This indicator lights an ins-
tant with the sign of starting the cleaning, afterwards it turns off, and
it lights an instant again with the sign of ending the cleaning. Usually,
this LED is off, in waiting time or during the cleaning.
