Cleaning Programmer FL8A -
Generalities
This LAMA filter backwash programmer, model FL8A, will operate
any type of filter. It can run directly until 8 stations or filtrate units, or a
very superior number by means of other programmers, slaves of the
main one (master). Operating voltage:
• 220/110V AC input - 24V AC output (50Hz/60Hz)
• 12V DC input - 12V DC or 12V latching output
• 115 V input optional, Consult to your supplier.
Times regulation
A - It is recommended activated, with a cleaning at least each 24 h
B - According to system, see the section.
C - According to system, see the section.
Installation
Connect the upstream or water pressure inlet to the main presostat inlet
(marked 'H'). Connect the downstream or water outlet to the eccentric pre-
sostat outlet (marked 'L'). The water supplied to the presostat differential
must come from the auxiliary filter. Care should be taken in order not to damage them. Use a second pair of pliers or
wrench when tightening fittings. (See the pressostat installation section).

Language selection
The instructions for an optimal language selection are the following:
• Turn the programmer off
• Next, open the control panel and seek 4 positions DIP switch with the indication "program" in
the back of the circuit board and change the 1 switch to the OFF position.
• Turn the programmer on and press the manual cleaning button in order to have the desired
language.
• Finally, after having the programmer turned on, change again the 1 switch to the ON position.
Indications in the chosen language will appear on the screen after having done all the instructions
mentioned above.
AC 220V Power supply connection
Connections
PD: Presostat Differential connection.
S: Common connections to all solenoids.
M: Master valve connection. Master valve becomes energized from the beginning to the end of the
cycle. 15 seconds after the cycle has started, the first programmed station is activated. This output
is used in case of marginal pressure conditions, whereby closing a master valve allows pressure to
be maintained during the whole backwash process
1 - 8: Output terminal to each station solenoid.
SP - FL: Auxiliary terminals for in-series connection of several programmers in charge of over 8 stations.
In the program selector, the switch number 4 should be in position "OFF" in the programmer master and in position
"ON" in the programmers slaves.
The programming of times should be same in all programmers and the input voltage must be steady, without voltage peaks.
