    4- Application The forage Harvesters and Choppers JF C-40, C-60 and C-120 can be driven by any tractor equipped with double or independent clutch and with at least 40 hp at the PTO, it requires a tractor of at least 50hp, fullly meeting the needs of the producer.

    OPERATION TECHNICAL MANUAL - HARVESTER JF C40 C60 and C120 SERIES 2 5- Assembly and setup to start operating Assemble the following components: A- Outlet chute Lift the outlet chute (1) and fasten it by the lever (2). If the locking pressure is insufficient, regulate it through the nuts (3).
  • Página 20 C- Boocker The boocker (8) deflects the product turning easier its gathering. a) Install the boocker (8), fastening it with the pins (9 and 10). Also install the lock pins (11) according to picture below. Note 1: The pin (9) adjusts the boocker advance (8). The higher are the plants to be harvested, more advanced the boocker should be and vice-versa.

    5.5- Chopping size According to the machine’s model, different sizes of chopping can be obtained, according to the pair of gears used and the number of knives in the chopping impeller (see the table in the next page). The front gear (1) of the shaft that has the safety pin is the one that determines the size of the chopping.

Therefore, never allow a person other than the tractor’s operator to adjust the outlet chute and/or deflector with the machine in operation.

    OPERATION TECHNICAL MANUAL - HARVESTER JF C40 C60 and C120 SERIES 2 5.8- PTO speed During operation, the PTO speed must remain constant PTO speed at 540 rpm. Therefore, there is need for finding out which engine speed provides 540 rpm at the PTO.

    5.9- Speed when harvesting The correct tractor ground speed is one of the factors that directly influences the machine output and the chopping quality. The engine speed must be in a such way that the PTO speed be kept at 540 rpm. Check whether in your tractor there is a sticker a table and/ or graphic scale that tells you the speed for several rotations in each gear.

    4- Aplicación Las Cosechadoras y Picadoras de Forrajes de Precisión JF C-40, C-60 y C-120 pueden ser accionadas por cualquier tractor equipado con embrague doble o independiente y con potencia mínima de 40 cv en la TDF, exigiendo un tractor con por lo menos 50 cv, atendiendo totalmente las necesidades del productor.

Verifique si su tractor posee una calcomanía conteniendo una tabla y/o escala gráfica que informe la velocidad para diversas rotaciones en cada marcha.
