7.6- Chopping impeller's counter-knife replacement
If even after the chopping rotor's blades sharpening the
product cut remains bad, invert the counter-blade (12 -
in the next pages), following the procedure below:
Note:
The machine should be turned off and the tail
shaft uncoupled.
Note:
If the counter-knife has already been used on
both sides, replace it.
a) Upraise the shield (1) when equipped.
b) Remove the cover (2) releasing the screws (3).
c) Manually remove the gears (4) and after that the box
(5), releasing the screws (6) using a wrench according
to the sub-item 12.1 table.
Note:
The items ¨d¨, ¨e¨ and ¨f¨ illustrate the gears
removal to stop the gathering drums rotation
during the knives sharpening procedure.
d) Release the bolts using a wrench according to the
sub-item 12.1 table and remove the cover of the gears
box.
e) Remove one of the gears (4), the front or the rear one,
to stop the gathering drums rotation, according to the
figures below.
